Situated in a picturesque seaside village a one-hour drive south of Stockholm lies this newly built country house. The family wanted the house to have a stylish but relaxed feel taking influence from the sea, the forest and an equestrian lifestyle. This was accomplished using a blue and white base with striped and patterned wallpapers and adding French and Swedish antiques, cognac-coloured leather, natural and off-white linen fabrics and details with a colonial influence into the design. The result is a harmonious and relaxing second home where you can walk barefoot into the surrounding garden.
